Jacqueline Lord is that rare artist who has established herself as an accomplished musician, actress, songwriter and model, continuing to challenge the boundaries. Sure, she was playing Mozart and Beethoven on the piano at the ripe old age of five, and grew up with every intention of pursuing a degree in music, but at 19 she was discovered by a modeling scout and encouraged to move to New York, a long way from that small Midwestern town where she had spent her entire life.
Jacqueline embraced the opportunity with equal parts determination and courage. With an amazing sense of adventure she began a highly successful career, shooting countless advertising campaigns for Crest, AT&T, Royal Caribbean, Target, Priori Skincare and Chicos to name but a few. Unlike many who would have been content with a lucrative career donning designer clothes, and traveling to exciting locals around the globe, Jacqueline never stopped pushing herself and continued to write music, recording her first EP in 2006. Not long after, Jacqueline’s musical breakthrough came when she wrote and performed her haunting ballad “Broken” for the soundtrack of the film “Stiletto” in which she also had a cameo appearance. As a favor to a friend she appeared in the music video for the track “Lonely Girl” by London vocal trance group OceanLab. With a whole new genre to embrace, Jacqueline made it her own and unleashed her addictive dance single “Killer” with much deserved acclaim. Brought to the dance floor by top UK remix and DJ duo Soulshaker, the track shot to #3 on the MW commercial PO Chart’s Top 30, with apologies to Cher and Taylor Cruz for topping their efforts. Her #5 spot on the MW Upfront Club Chart Top 100 was the highest new entry, outperforming both Annie Lennox and Katy Perry. More apologies all around.
Again, not one to ever rest on her laurels let alone just rest, Jacqueline cultivated an acting career, always pushing to expand her scope. She landed a starring role, holding her own opposite Steven Segal in the cult classic Mercenary for Justice, as well as hit television shows like Hawaii Five-O, Two and Half Men, and sentimental favorite Days of Our Live. Jacqueline can also be seen in the newly released indie episodic web series “Vigilante Diaries” from Jay Mewes of ‘Jay and Silent Bob’ fame.
Jacqueline will tell you, “What I love about approaching my career as a 360 degree performer is that every day there are exciting endeavors, challenges and new dreams to achieve. Whether it’s music, acting or modeling, my passions lead me to a success that I love to share with my friends and fans.”
